5.29.11 - Zebu Vous?

We took a day trip to Ocala to see our friends and stucco contractor Donnie and Peggy Black, show their miniature Zebu cattle, Bubba and Riley, at the Livestock show. Zebu are one of the oldest breeds of cattle dating back as far as 6000 B.C. having originated in Southern India and Sri Lanka. Aside from their size, one of the distinguishing characteristics is a well-developed hump, especially on the mature bull. And they really moo LOUD!
