Zoom-A-Rama

It's been 4 months of staying-at-home during the Covid-19 pandemic. Gratefully, Zoom provides a fun way to keep in touch with dear friends. Cheers to more Zoomtime! #WearaMask

8.12.13 - Puppy Love

We're puppysitting for 10 days and loving every minute. Baxter is a very playful and sweet 7 month old, 60 lb. "creme" standard poodle puppy. It's been fun getting to know each other.

John Pirman took this great photo of the boys.
Baxter's toys are all over the house.

Love how B blends into the whiteness.

Mr. Moose is B's favorite.
Baxter strikes an elegant pose.

9.1.11 - Happy September!

Activity is good: Mike the painter has been working early every day this week, making progress before the usual afternoon rain shower. The guys from Solar Source discussed with Elliott how they'll adhere the mats to the roof — as soon as the roof is finished which will happen when the stucco is done. Parrish Drilling stopped by to see how they'll fit (more like squeeze) their equipment into the back yard when they drill our well next Tuesday. Don the carpenter will be framing and squaring up closets and doors today, getting ready for the dry wall installation.

Below, a few photos from hither and yon.

8.6.11 - Hot Wheels Saturday

This morning, after fueling up at home on one of Elliott's delectable cinnamon-topped cappuccinos, we stopped by the Porsche dealer for their once a month exotic car rally. Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Morgan, Ford GT, Audi R8…it was an awesome line-up. Spied a sign pasted on the dashboard of a vintage Porsche: "Get in, shut up and hold on!" Vaarrrrrrrrroooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

this one's for me!

7.6.11 - Glass of Milk

Painters applied primer on the south end today, partially tinted to “Glass of Milk”, as suggested by John Pirman and produced by Martha Stewart. It’s starting to look like a house.

"Glass of Milk" is the off-white swatch in the middle.
