We always enjoy attending a
10x10: Ten Slides Ten Speakers, a great community 4 times-a-year event organized by architect Michael Halflants, painter Tim Jaeger and the AIA Gulfcoast chapter.
10 speakers are invited to present 10 images of their work or interest with slides advancing automatically every 30 seconds. The informal and fast-paced event showcases a diverse group of creative minds from Sarasota. The speakers on January 16th included the original architect of the Kennedy Space Center, Sarasota’s Public Art Board Chair, a creative director, a nautical archaeologist, a public defender, two artists, a community scholar and activist, a ceramic sculptor and an opera singer.
